Program is based on finite element discretization on triangular meshes. Both conforming and non-conforming couples of finite elements are considered. This includes for example conforming Taylor-Hood finite elements as well as non-conforming equal order piecewise linear finite elements. Higher order types of finite elements can be also considered.
In the program several types of stabilizations are included (SUPG - streamline upwind/Petrov-Galerkin, GLS - Galerkin least squares), [2], [3], [1].
FEMFLUID includes implementation of several different turbulence models, cf. [5].
